Job description

Job Title: Pest Control Technician

Company: Limitless Pest Control

Location: San Fernando Valley, California, with routes that extend to surrounding areas including Glendale and Pasadena.

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Hourly Employee. Routes and work hours vary based on customer demand. While this is a full-time position, schedules may fluctuate depending on seasonal workload and business needs.

Hourly Pay: $22-$26/hour (based on experience & licensing)

Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Occasional early mornings, evenings, or Saturdays may be required to accommodate customer needs.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and applying appropriate treatments to eliminate and prevent infestations. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while being supported by an experienced team committed to your success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and other properties.
  • Identify pest problems and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Apply pesticides and other pest management solutions in accordance with regulations.
  • Complete daily assigned routes efficiently, ensuring all scheduled services are performed within the designated time frame.
  • Travel to multiple customer locations using a company vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and state/federal pest control regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services that benefit customers and communicate recommendations professionally.
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and control practices.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work vehicle and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory and report restocking needs for tools, chemicals, and supplies.
  • Communicate clearly with office staff to coordinate schedules and updates.
  • Assist team members as needed during busy periods or for large service jobs.
  • Participate in company training and development opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support company operations and customer needs.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Valid Class C driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
  • 1+ years of pest control experience required.
  • California Branch 2 Field Representative license (required)
  • Must successfully complete required licensing, fingerprinting, and background checks in accordance with California law.
  • Strong knowledge of pest control methods, products, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with common infestations (roaches, rodents, bed bugs, etc.)
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors, use a ladder, and work in crawl spaces or attics.
  • Ability to operate software and app technology via cell phone and/or tablet.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Coachable with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the San Fernando Valley service area.
