Their duties often include inspecting premises, setting traps or bait, applying chemical treatments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Pay: $16.00 - $20.03 per hour

Job description:

Franklin Pest Solutions is a part of the Rose Pest Solutions family, America's oldest and most experienced pest management company. We are a multi-generational family business, protecting health, homes, businesses, and the environment since 1860. Our historical business is growing and we are looking for individuals to join our team who share our mission to serve others and protect health.

We are here to meet and exceed customers' expectations for their pest control needs

While our services and methods have continued to evolve since 1860, our values have not:

To embody the ideals of an industry leader by providing careful, conscientious, professional pest control solutions

To conduct business in a manner consistent with the highest standards of integrity and ethics

To make customer satisfaction our top priority

What is this role about?

Our Pest Technicians serve in a key front-line role and are the very heart of what we do. It is all about providing outstanding service delivery of Franklin products to valued customers within an assigned territory.

What does a "Day-in-the-Life" look like?

Equipped with a company vehicle and excellent industry training, Pest Control Technicians are out in the neighborhoods Franklin serves visiting residential and commercial customers, performing their pest control treatments. Pest Control Technicians also offer customers on their route additional products and services that may be beneficial, which presents a great opportunity to earn commissions.

Here are a few more specifics of what you would be doing each day:

  • Applying pesticides to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
  • Responding on a timely basis to customers' requests for telephone and in-person service calls + calling customers to confirm scheduled services.
  • Identifying and acting upon opportunities to sell additional Franklin Pest Solutions products or services

What do I need to be successful?

  • Being a high school graduate/having a GED and a valid driver's license are both requirements
  • Prior industry experience is great, but not required. The following are much more important...
  • You are personable and enjoy interacting with customers
  • You are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
  • You can effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
  • You are detailed oriented and understand the importance of safety
  • You have a good aptitude for basic math-- necessary for doing calculations related to sales and service
  • Of course, given our business, you should be comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
  • For safety reasons (respirators have to be able to seal to your face) our Pest Control Technicians are only allowed to have facial hair that does not interfere with the seal.
