Sales Department Leader – Your Impact

As a Sales Department Leader, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 to 6 sales team members selling roofing products direct to customers (homeowners) and to homeowners associations.

You will:

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a sales team (5 to 6 reps), leading them to drive revenue and hit sales performance goals, develop their performance, lead sales coaching meetings and hire additional team members when needed.
  • Work alongside your team in the field, observing appointments and providing real-time coaching and feedback to continuously improve the sales function
  • Drive team performance to achieve annual sales, product mix and profitability goals
  • Monitor sales activity, conversion metrics, and product mix performance
  • Report sales activity, metrics and success to leadership
  • Build trust and credibility with both your sales team and company leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, coaching methods and team effectiveness
  • Participate in ride-alongs and field observations to reinforce best practices

Sales Department Leader – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

You have:

  • Prior sales experience – you have been a sales manager and led a sales team or you have been a sales representative yourself
  • Prior experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or developing others, or the desire to move into a formal leadership role
  • Experience with short sales cycles – you understand a quick transactional sell / volume selling
  • Comfort and ability to climb a ladder, climb onto a roof, lift a ladder – you are joining your sales reps on sales calls and that means getting on the roof!
  • Flexibility to join sales calls on occasional evenings or weekends for meetings or customer visits
  • A valid NV drivers license and clean driving record
  • You might have:
  • Prior experience in home improvement, roofing, HVAC, pest control, landscaping, handyman services, home services, automotive sales, or similar customer-facing sales environments / B2C selling experience

Sales Department Leader – Benefits for You

Your compensation will be $100,000 to $110,000 base salary plus incentives based on team performance goals and company goals. Total OTE planned at $200,000 to $220,000.

You will also receive a phone stipend and ongoing leadership development support.
