Job Title: Animal Removal & Pest Control Technician
Location: Southeast Wisconsin
Job Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate

Pay: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an outgoing, motivated individual to join our team as a Wildlife and Pest Control Technician. This role combines hands-on fieldwork with customer interaction. No two days are the same, and you’ll encounter new challenges regularly.

This position can be physically demanding and involves working outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces such as attics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect homes to identify pest and wildlife entry points
  • Remove or control nuisance wildlife safely and effectively
  • Apply pest control treatments to residential properties
  • Locate and seal rodent entry points
  • Use ladders to access roofs and attic spaces
  • Drive a company vehicle to job sites
  • Communicate clearly with customers about issues and solutions
  • Complete service documentation and reports
  • Identify and recommend additional services when appropriate
  • Provide feedback to office staff regarding customer needs


Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Irregular hours may be required
  • Weekend work required (approximately 1 weekend per month)


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Safety-focused attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working with animals (including raccoons, bats, skunks, etc.)
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Basic smartphone skills (Google Calendar, apps, etc.)
  • Willingness to obtain pest control and trapping licenses


Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Experience in pest control or wildlife removal
  • Background in construction, roofing, or home repair
  • Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification
  • Sales experience or training
  • Interest in biology or environmental sciences
  • Trapping or animal handling experience
