Position Overview
This is not a transactional sales role. You will be responsible for owning the market within your assigned territory.
You Will:
  • Act as a technical authority for erosion control, geosynthetics, and stormwater solutions across heavy civil, DOT, commercial, and land development projects.
  • Influence project outcomes early by engaging in pre-bid reviews, pre-construction planning, and design-assist conversations.
  • Provide hands-on field support including jobsite evaluations, installation guidance, troubleshooting, and solutions optimization.
  • Build executive-level relationships with contractors, engineering firms, developers, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Deliver professional presentations, contractor training, and Lunch & Learns that elevate technical understanding and drive adoption.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities through strategic outreach, industry involvement, and relationship-based prospecting.
  • Serve as the industry leader between customers, internal teams, and manufacturing partners to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Maintain discipline use of CRM and reporting tools to forecast opportunities, track activity, and provide insight into market trends.
  • Provide leadership with clear, actionable intelligence on competitive positioning, pricing dynamics, bid strategy, and emerging risks.
  • Representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and associations meetings as a recognized professional voice.

Work Environment & Travel
This is a dynamic field-based role with regular engagement with customers at site visits, office meetings, and industry events. You'll have the flexibility to work remotely managing proposals, follow-ups, and pipeline. You'll collaborate closely with local teams to ensure flawless execution.
This role isn't just about sales, it's about influence. You'll have high visibility across the organization and the market. With Autonomy to grow your territory, you'll have robust internal resources and vendor partners behind you. This isn't a short-term transactional position; it's a long-term opportunity to make a lasting impact. If you're ready to lead, shape outcomes, and build something significant, this is your stage.
Skills We Are Seeking
  • Experience in erosion control, geosynthetics, stormwater, civil construction, or site development
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in account management or business development
  • The ability to speak confidently with superintendents, project managers, engineers, and public agency officials
  • A working understanding of construction sequencing, constructability challenges, and compliance requirements
  • The discipline to manage a territory autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Comfort using CRM, reporting, and productivity tools to manage a professional book of business
