Job description

Salary: Based on experience

The Pest Control Advisor will supervise the pest and disease management program for all crops we produce. Monitoring increase blocks, Almond, Raisins, Pistachios, Walnuts ,and Pomegranates for the pest problems, including but not limited to insects, disease, and weeds. Monitoring plant development, nutritionist and weed status. Write pest control recommendations to address pest issues. Work with management to maximize plant quality and field. Other technical tasks as assigned Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science, Plant Science or related field strongly preferred and 3+ years experience, or equivalent combination education and experience. Must have an active Pest Control Advisor (PCA) license with the following categories: A,B,C,D,E, and G. Self-starter, dependent personality, ability to multi-task and manage both short and long-term goals. excellent planning and scheduling abilities. Bilingual/English-Spanish preferred but not required. Experience with permanent crop. Must have a clean driving record. Work assignment may include days, nights, weekends and holiday.
