Job description

The Embossing Operator is responsible for operating card personalization systems within a high-volume direct mail environment. This role ensures high-quality embossed finishes on printed pieces, while meeting client specifications in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, production environment.

Shift: 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday

Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate Entrust embossing and personalization equipment to produce high quality cards for mailing campaigns.
Load and manage card stocks, place completed cards into sleeves/cases while keeping proper order and orientation.
Change foil (as needed), read work orders, load jobs and complete paperwork.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client specifications.
Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
Maintain a neat and clean working environment, ensuring the area is ready for the next shift.
Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
High Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are key
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production specifications.
Basic computer and math skills required.
Effectively work with others in a team-oriented environment.
Dependable and able to work designated hours is a Must
Strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills required

Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent required.
1-2 years if experience embossing or similar finishing equipment in a print or direct mail environment preferred.
