Flex Security Officer II (Healthcare Security & Vehicle Patrol) - Riverside

Elite Security & Staffing is seeking a reliable, professional, and adaptable Flex Security Officer carrying a taser to support operations across multiple client sites in the Riverside area. This role would include multiple days at the main client healthcare location in downtown Riverside, and additional days working security vehicle patrol to other locations.

This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in dynamic environments and can respond to client needs on short notice. Assignments will primarily be in healthcare settings and may include standing posts, foot patrols, and vehicle patrols.

Officers must be willing to travel between locations and quickly adapt to different site requirements. Training will be conducted at a healthcare client sites throughout Riverside County to ensure proper coverage and understanding of post-specific duties.

Work Locations:

  • Downtown Riverside - morning & afternoon security post site.
  • Rancho Mirage, Hemet, Corona, & Moreno Valley - security vehicle patrol site
  • Murrieta - security vehicle patrol site

Schedule:

  • Part-time position is 2-3 days posted at Downtown Riverside location. Shifts are 6 hours each day except for vehicle patrol days, which are 10 hour days.
  • 1-2 days of Security vehicle patrol - use of personal vehicle with mileage reinbursement.
  • Morning and afternoon availability required.
  • Client is open Monday - Saturdays, closed every Sunday.
  • Must be flexible with schedule changes and assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security services at healthcare facilities and assigned client sites.
  • Conduct foot patrols and vehicle patrols as required.
  • Maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies according to company and client protocols.
  • Deliver professional customer service in all interactions.
  • Complete incident reports using the GuardsPro app.
  • Follow all post orders and site-specific procedures.
  • Adapt quickly to different assignments and environments.
  • Carry a taser for healthcare client sites.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of current security experience required.
  • Prior vehicle patrol experience required.
  • Valid BSIS Guard Card with proof of required training (32 hours + 8-hour certificate).
  • Taser certification (must be trained and able to carry).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel between multiple job sites using personal vehicle (mileage reinbursement)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to think independently and respond effectively in dynamic situations.
  • Must be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement for company vehicle use)
  • Must be able to read and write in English.

Work Conditions:

  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and driving.
