Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. Responsibilities:
  • Perform research on case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
  • Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system
  • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
  • Handle personal injury case files from start to finish
  • Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation

Qualifications:
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
  • Proficiency in computers is vital
  • Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
  • Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
  • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory
