Job description

An Anderson, SC Law Firm is seeks an experienced personal injury paralegal.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compiles evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries, and databases
  • Interview clients, third parties, and expert witnesses
  • Prepare legal documents for attorney's approval
  • Maintain document control system
  • Oversee cases by managing files and documents
  • Coordinate with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts.
  • Process settlement papers and payments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years experience Personal Injury law
  • Workers' Compensation is a plus
  • Litigation experience a plus
  • Case Management software experience
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Analyze & summarize medical records
