We are a personal injury law firm in need of a new paralegal / legal assistant. This is a key position within the company with a large amount of responsibility. At Good Guys Injury Law, we help people who have sustained an injury because of the carelessness of another. Outstanding customer service is the motto by which we operate. Our goal is to simplify and de-stress an already complicated process. 


The right candidate must possess creativity, the ability to multitask, communicate, and have grit. The legal assistant needs the ability to independently problem solve, work within protocols, have a constant can-do attitude, and, at times, a thick skin. Compensation will vary depending on experience.

A legal assistant at Good Guys Injury Law works full-time, 40 hours/week. During that time, we expect our legal assistants to be diligent and productive. However, we are a family-friendly firm, and overtime is rare. We want you to be able to go home at night to your family. The legal assistant does the following:

  • Works with potential clients to determine whether we can help with their case
  • Prepares new client materials
  • Manages client case files
  • Advocates for clients in communication with insurance companies and medical providers
  • Requests and organizes medical records
  • Strategies on how to strengthen the case
  • Propound and respond to discovery
  • Maintains client relations
  • Writes settlement demands
