Personal Driver

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week

Compensation: $100.00 per day

Starting Location: Salford Township, PA

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and physically capable Personal Driver to provide transportation and personal assistance to one of our company owners.

This position requires a high level of dependability, discretion, patience, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with a seasoned business man, providing safe and courteous transportation, and assisting with basic mobility needs when necessary.

This is a position requiring significant flexibility and availability throughout the workday.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide safe, reliable transportation to and from appointments, meetings, errands, and other destinations.

Generally begin each workday from the designated starting location in Salford Township, PA.

Operate and maintain a clean, safe, and reliable personal vehicle suitable for transporting a passenger.

Assist the owner in entering and exiting the vehicle and navigating locations as needed.

Provide physical assistance with mobility when necessary, including the ability to safely assist or lift the owner in the event he is unable to stand or move independently.

Remain with the owner as needed throughout the day and provide transportation between multiple destinations.

Maintain a calm, patient, and professional demeanor at all times.

Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal, family, business, and financial matters.

Assist with occasional errands or other reasonable transportation-related tasks.

Monitor the owner's general comfort and safety while providing transportation and assistance.

Maintain flexibility throughout the workday as schedules and destinations may change.

Keep the personal vehicle clean and presentable at all times.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record.

Reliable personal vehicle that is safe, clean, well-maintained, and properly insured.

Demonstrated reliability and excellent attendance.

The contractor must provide their own reliable vehicle suitable for safely transporting an elderly passenger.

Vehicle must:

Be clean and well-maintained.

Have current registration and inspection.

Carry appropriate automobile insurance.

Be safe and comfortable for an elderly passenger.

Be available for use throughout the scheduled workday.
