Description

Join Our Team: Household Operations Assistant Position

Company Overview:

At Pepper's Personal Assistants, we believe exceptional support creates space for what matters most.

Since 2012, we've partnered with executives, entrepreneurs, and busy professionals throughout Seattle by providing thoughtful, proactive household management and lifestyle support. Our clients trust us to anticipate needs, create order, and deliver exceptional service that gives them more time to focus on their families, careers, and the things they enjoy most.

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced, proactive Personal Assistant to support a professional family in North Capitol Hill. This is more than a task-oriented role; it's an opportunity to become a trusted partner who creates calm, brings organization to a busy household, and helps life run seamlessly.

If you naturally think ahead, notice the details others miss, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, we'd love to meet you.

You'll support a busy professional family by managing household operations, maintaining organization systems, and anticipating needs before they're asked. Success in this role isn't measured by how many tasks you complete; it's measured by how seamlessly you help your client's life run.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining household organization systems
  • Planning and preparing meals
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Laundry and wardrobe care
  • Daily household resets, dishes, and light household upkeep
  • Coordinating vendors and supporting home maintenance
  • Managing household projects and seasonal organization
  • Providing dog care and coordinating pet-related needs

While you'll be working in a family home, this position is focused on household management and personalized support. Childcare is not a primary responsibility of this role. The ideal candidate likes preparing meals, has strong organizational skills and ability to anticipate the clients' needs, is a self starter, and loves dogs.

Schedule: 15 hours per week

Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Compensation: $28-$31 per hour, depending on experience

Location: North Capitol Hill (on-site)

Applicants must live in the greater Seattle area and be able to reliably commute to the client's home.

Start Date: ASAP.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable around dogs.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in household management with a passion for service.
  • Independent, with a knack for taking initiative and anticipating needs.
  • Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organized and efficient.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy and respectful of privacy.
  • At ease interacting and collaborating with individuals with disabilities.

Why Pepper's?

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: All employees, including part-time team members, earn a competitive hourly wage and enjoy benefits including a 401(k) plan with employer match, tech stipend, paid time off, company-paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
  • Direct Employment and Team Support: Pepper's is the direct employer for all Personal Assistants (PAs). This is not a placement agency role, and all PAs are hired as W-2 employees of Pepper's. Experience a positive team culture with ongoing support from management and opportunities for professional development.
  • Culture of Growth: Stay prepared for quick placement with our dedicated client-matching process.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Achieve a work-life balance with flexible hours tailored to client needs.
