What is a personal assistant?

The job of a personal assistant is to meet the needs of the client. Personal assistants can work in a business context, assist with personal tasks, or help with a combination of both business and personal tasks. A personal assistant may be required to make phone calls, write emails, organize schedules, run errands, and make appointments. Job duties may also include making travel arrangements, completing expense reporting, acting as a liaison with other staff, and managing special projects.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a personal assistant, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Personal Assistant, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in managing schedules, travel, and correspondence, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
