CNA, HHA & Experienced Companion Caregivers

Griswold Home Care is seeking experienced, dependable live-in caregivers to provide high-quality private-duty care to seniors and adults in their homes throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas.

This opportunity is ideal for caregivers who take pride in their work, understand the responsibility of caring for another person in their home, and have a proven history of providing reliable, compassionate care.

Applicants must have a minimum of one year of verifiable direct-care experience.

What You'll Do

Provide personalized support based on each client's individual care plan, including:

• Personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring
• Medication reminders
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Companionship and emotional support
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Dementia care and other specialized support as needed

• Reliable, professional, and committed to providing excellent care
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home
• Comfortable living in a client’s home and providing care in a professional, respectful manner
• Respectful of client dignity, privacy, and independence

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of verifiable direct-care experience, preferably in a setting involving hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, such as:
  Private-duty home care
  Assisted living
  Nursing home
  Hospital
  Other healthcare or senior care setting

• Experience providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living
• Ability to provide professional references who can verify your experience, responsibilities, and quality of care
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client assignments
• Successful completion of required background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous live-in caregiving experience
• CNA or HHA certification
• Dementia care experience
• Private-duty home care experience
• Experience working independently in a client’s home
