Mission & Goal, LLC is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate ILS / PA Educators, Caregivers, and Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in the Los Angeles area.

We are looking for reliable, professional, and caring team members who are passionate about helping individuals increase independence, safety, daily living skills, and overall quality of life.

This position may include providing Independent Living Skills (ILS) support and/or Personal Assistance (PA) services based on the individual’s needs, goals, and authorized services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support individuals with daily living skills and personal care needs
  • Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and daily routines as needed
  • Teach and encourage independent living skills
  • Support meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and household tasks
  • Assist with community integration and transportation to appointments or activities
  • Help individuals follow their daily schedule and service goals
  • Provide reminders and support related to safety, health, and wellness routines
  • Maintain professional boundaries and respectful communication
  • Complete required documentation, progress notes, and timekeeping accurately
  • Communicate concerns or incidents promptly to supervisors
  • Follow company policies, regional center expectations, and client-specific plans

Qualifications

  • Experience as a caregiver, DSP, personal assistant, educator, behavioral support staff, or similar role preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Must be reliable, patient, professional, and compassionate
  • Ability to follow care plans, schedules, and supervisor instructions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Must be able to pass required background checks
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and car insurance preferred
