Description
Project Manager Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the deployment of a large-scale fiber optic network in Ventura County, CA. This role requires a deep understanding of the fiber network infrastructure, local codes and regulations, and the micro-trenching process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders including city and county officials, third-party contractors, and engineering firms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership and Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of the fiber optic network deployment. Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and key developments. Negotiate with city and county officials to ensure compliance and support for the project.
  • Compliance and Permitting: Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee the permitting process and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Technical Oversight: Work closely with the engineering firm to design and implement the network. Provide technical oversight and ensure the use of best practices in the micro-trenching process and other deployment methodologies.
