Limited Permit Registered Nurse RN) – New Graduate

Job Summary
Fairview Skilled Rehab & Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate and motivated Limited Permit RN to join our nursing team. This position is designed for recent nursing graduates who have completed an accredited Registered Nursing program and are authorized to practice under a New York State Limited Permit while awaiting licensure. You will work under the supervision of experienced nursing leadership while providing high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or nursing leadership, in accordance with New York State regulations.

  • Perform resident assessments and report changes in condition promptly.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as permitted by facility policy.

  • Accurately document resident care in the electronic medical record.

  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary care planning.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families.

  • Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.

  • Current New York State Limited Permit to practice as a Registered Nurse.

  • Eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination.
