Job description

GCyber is seeking a JIRA Administrator, to support a high profile DISA customer in their mission to improve collaboration and information sharing between defense and intelligence organizations. The JIRA Administrator will be configuring and maintaining JIRA dashboards and workflows to streamline cloud systems deployment and management. As the JIRA Administrator, you will: * Analyze, document, and improve current functionality while researching and applying industry best practices. * Administer applications and systems, including backups, scheduled jobs, and testing of new tool versions and plug-ins for compatibility. * Manage and optimize JIRA projects, workflows, filters, dashboards, permissions, security, and integrations with external plug-ins. * Oversee user permissions and access for JIRA, Confluence, and related tools to support project and team needs. * Manage incident ticket data, reporting, and analytics while communicating and sharing knowledge across stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: * Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a CI Poly * DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (i.e., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+) * BA/BS Degree and 4-8 years prior relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. * Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience working with the Atlassian product suite, with specific focus on JIRA as an administrator. * Scripting experience (e.g. bash, python, perl) desired
