Description:

Summit Truck Bodies LLC, a quality manufacturer of custom designed service and lube truck bodies, is expanding its workforce. Summit Truck Bodies is seeking a versatile Software Engineer who thrives on solving problems independently and creating efficient solutions across our business systems. This role involves everything from writing code to managing projects, requiring someone who can both build custom applications and optimize our Salesforce and NetSuite platforms. This is an ON-SITE position.

This position is 100% onsite at our manufacturing location in Wathena KS.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop custom web applications using JavaScript to meet business requirements.
  • Build automation solutions across Salesforce and NetSuite to streamline operations.
  • Integrate systems through API development and management, creating seamless data flows.
  • Perform system administration tasks including user management, permissions, workflows, and configurations in Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, from debugging code to system troubleshooting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for custom applications and system configurations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
  • Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and or equivalent work experience.
  • JavaScript programming abilities building web applications
  • Hands-on experience with API integration and development (RESTful APIs, webhooks)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce administration (user management, workflows, custom objects, reports)
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite administration (customization, saved searches, workflows)
  • Proven ability to work independently and self-manage projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.


PREFERRED:

  • Experience with additional languages (Apex, Java, SQL, Python).
  • Familiarity with modern frameworks (Angular, Node.js).
  • Background in business process optimization.
  • Experience with middleware or integration platforms.
