IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Systems Administrator to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description

The primary purpose of this solicitation is to contract for a qualified IT resource to work with COSC technical staff in the migration of our current Microsoft Project Server 2003/PWA environment to a Microsoft Project Server 2013/PWA environment. In addition, we will be reviewing existing configurations, processes and procedures, and updating or redesigning them based on our current needs.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing "best practice" recommendations, systems administration, programming, software applications, database, hardware, and project documentation.


Candidate Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the position will include (but is not limited to) the following:

A. Review of our current Microsoft Project Server 2003 (EPM) environment.

- PWA

- SharePoint

- SQL Server databases


B. Project Server 2013/PWA architecture and system requirements.

- Number of projects, typical project sizes, custom fields, dependencies.

- Concurrency of users, security permissions, geographic location of users.

- Workload conditions, average page requests, average session time.


C. Project Server 2013 design and planning.

- Client tier, application tier, and database tier.

- Installation of new hardware/software.

- Configuration of new hardware/software.

- Data migration (projects, documents, etc.).


D. Authentication planning.

- Active Directory

- SQL Server


E. Project Server 2013 and SharePoint security.

F. Performance and capacity planning.
