Job description

Spaceline Technologies is looking for a Business Development Lead to join our team in Washington State. Spaceline designs and builds complex products for commercial and government customers including the aerospace, cryogenics, industrial gas, and defense sectors. Spaceline product lines include industrial process systems, cryogenics, ground support equipment and in-space fluid systems. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and drive new business for Spaceline. Advocate to potential customers why they should be working with Spaceline.
  • Work closely with Spaceline engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, identify capability requirements, and inform the product roadmap based on commercial opportunity.
  • Lead direct engagement with prospective customers.
  • Lead regulatory and government outreach initiatives that can drive new business.
  • Represent Spaceline at industry conferences.
  • Develop commercial proposals, partnership frameworks, and sales enablement materials.
  • Create marketing and lead generation packages.
  • Monitor competitive activity. Understand Spaceline advantages to drive new business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or business discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management involving industrial process systems, aerospace, and/or cryogenics.
  • Prior experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or commercial roles requiring deep product fluency.
  • Experience launching or commercializing new products.
  • Familiarity with government contracting.
  • General fluency with industrial process systems, fluids and cryogenics.
  • Independently motivated self-starter with a demonstrated track record of ownership.
  • Own regulatory requirement discovery.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends, as needed.
  • Travel offsite will be required, 30% of time.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
