Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Overview Our organization develops advanced electronic systems and technologies that support critical space capabilities and national security missions. Teams design and develop cutting-edge satellites and satellite payloads, resilient space architectures, and highly sensitive radar, optical, and passive RF systems. Current programs include prototyping advanced electronic systems, hardware-in-the-loop testing of tactically relevant payloads with representative threat systems, development of RF subsystems for satellite platforms, and analysis of spacecraft mission dynamics, environmental effects, and system resiliency. Job Description We are seeking a Lead Test Engineer to support the integration and testing of advanced electronics and space systems. Responsibilities may include team leadership during system integration, test and measurement activities, data collection and analysis, documentation and reporting, team coordination, anomaly resolution, and overall test execution. The successful candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary teams performing advanced research and engineering development while independently solving complex technical challenges. Occasional travel may be required to support field exercises, program reviews, and technical presentations. Requirements Education Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field A Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience may also be considered Experience Significant experience in at least two of the following areas, with familiarity or interest in several others: Test design, procedure development, and execution RF systems and/or high-speed digital systems design, fabrication, and testing Ground support equipment development for space systems Analog and/or digital electronics prototype test development and execution Space systems engineering including vehicle design, space environments, and mission operations Environmental testing (vibration, thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, payload integration) Hardware assembly in clean room environments and ESD-controlled test facilities Physics disciplines such as classical electromagnetics or ionizing radiation Investigative data analysis and rapid troubleshooting of complex systems Development of automated analysis and reporting tools or custom analysis applications Additional Skills Ability to work safely and responsibly in laboratory and assembly environments Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills Clear and concise communication with both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to solve complex engineering and technical problems Ability to quickly learn and apply advanced technical knowledge Programming experience in analytical or scientific environments (MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar) Preferred Active Top Secret security clearance Compensation Recent Graduate Hiring Range: $116,400 – $140,000
