Position: Certified Scrub Tech – Orthopedics
Location: Granby, CO (Grand County, High Rockies – 1.5 hours from Denver)
Shift: Monday–Friday, Days (facility closed on weekends; minimal call/holiday coverage possible)
Position SummaryThe Certified Scrub Tech plays an essential role in supporting surgical services, primarily in orthopedics (must have total joints/ortho experience), with additional involvement in general surgery and endoscopy. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Scrub Tech ensures the sterile field is maintained, assists surgeons with instruments and supplies, and helps prepare and dismantle the operating room.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist surgeons with orthopedic procedures (total joints required; spinal experience preferred), general surgery, and endoscopy.
Maintain a detailed knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Prepare, set up, and break down operating rooms under the guidance of circulating nurses.
May act as a circulating nurse as needed.
Maintain compliance with sterile technique and departmental protocols.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
RequirementsMinimum 2 years of orthopedic experience required (total joints mandatory; spinal preferred).
Current Colorado Surgical Technologist License (or eligibility).
Current CPR/BLS certification (or within 60 days of hire).
Knowledge of PAR lists and supply requisitions.
Compensation & IncentivesPay range: $26.52 – $42.42/hr DOE
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (full-time, permanent hires)
$350/month Housing Stipend (full-time, permanent hires residing in Grand, Jackson, or Summit Counties)
