Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Urology

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Urology
Location: Brattleboro, VT.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Details:
Patient Population: Patients with urologic conditions
Setting: Physician office setting
Responsibilities: Assist the Urology surgeon in diagnosing and treating urologic conditions; conduct patient evaluations and assessments; develop treatment plans; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; assist in urologic surgeries and office-based procedures; provide patient and family education; manage post-operative and follow-up care; coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Required Procedures: Urologic surgeries and office-based procedures
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: LPNs, Medical Assistants, Clerical Staff
On-Call/Weekends: Rotating on-call coverage; No weekend coverage required

Submission Requirements:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Adult Nurse Practitioner program – Required
  • Active Vermont APRN License – Required
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience in Urology – Required
  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification – Required
