Permanent Nurse Practitioner โ€“ Neonatology

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician โ€“ Neonatology
Location: Georgia.
Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour days (Monโ€“Thu), 8-hour weekend shifts, and 16-hour night coverage

Position Details:
  • Patient Population: Neonatal (Level III NICU)
  • Setting: Hospital-based 66-bed Level III NICU
  • Responsibilities: Provide neonatal care in NICU, manage admissions and daily rounds, collaborate with Neonatologists and NNPs, deliver advanced respiratory and critical care therapies
  • Required Procedures: High-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, brain cooling
  • EMR System:
  • Support Staff: Neonatologists and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
  • Days Per Month: Variable schedule
  • On-Call/Weekends: No call

Submission Requirements:

  • Masterโ€™s Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing
  • Board Certified NNP (no FNP/PNP or other certifications accepted)
  • Georgia license (or willing to obtain)
  • NPDB Self Query within 30 days
  • 2+ years current NNP experience
  • DEA prior to start
