Job description

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Flow Iron Supervisor. The work will be done onsite in Midland, Texas. This is a long-term position that can lead to permanent employment with our client. Compensation is up to $133,810 annually + bonus.



Location

Onsite – Midland, TX

Monday–Friday schedule

Rotational weekend coverage (approx. every 4th–5th weekend)

No relocation assistance available


Role Overview

This position is responsible for overseeing shop service operations related to flow iron and pressure control equipment. The ideal candidate will lead shop personnel while ensuring operational readiness, safety, and high technical performance standards.


You will be hands-on in product installation and assembly

Troubleshooting and repair of equipment

Pressure testing operations

Large-bore rig-up systems

Gate valve and flow control equipment maintenance

Customization and service solutions


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage shop service operations and workflow
  • Supervise, train, and develop technicians and shop personnel
  • Ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence standards are met
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and testing activities
  • Develop schedules, work plans, and performance expectations
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Support continuous improvement and workforce development initiatives


Required Experience

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in oil & gas, industrial, manufacturing, or service environments
  • Strong understanding of shop operations and maintenance practices
  • Hands-on experience with pressure testing, gate valves, and large-bore rig-up operations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Experience

  • Flow iron / pressure control equipment experience
  • Wellhead or pressure pumping equipment background
  • Experience leading technical teams in shop environments
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
