TitleDental assistant
Job DescriptionPerform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment
Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry and pediatric dentistry
Take, develop, and manage dental X-rays and other imaging in compliance with safety standards
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patients for dental procedures
Maintain and operate dental imaging equipment effectively
Utilize Dentrix or equivalent dental software for patient scheduling and electronic health record management
Document patient treatment details and update records accurately
Provide excellent chairside support to enhance clinical efficiency and patient comfort
Salary RangeFull-time $18 - $21 per hour

Shift & ScheduleTuesday & Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Thursday & Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM (no lunch)
Requirements- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Dentrix
- Eaglesoft
- Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
- Infection Control License
- Open Dental
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Entry-level or proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting
CPR certification
Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating medical imaging equipment
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Strong communication skills and ability to interact comfortably with pediatric patients
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and clinical documentation accurately
PreferencesBilingual in Spanish and English
Experience in pediatric dentistry assistance
