Infection Prevention Nurse | LPN

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Infection Prevention Nurse, you are responsible for conducting rounds, discussing and monitoring infection prevention practices with staff members, collecting infection data from departments, maintaining records for each case of healthcare-associated infection, conducting outbreak investigation, training staff members on implementation of infection prevention practices, investigating incidents of infections and reporting such incidents to the appropriate person/department, and ensuring availability of supplies required for infection prevention activities.

Do You Have What It Takes?

  • A fire and passion for working with seniors
  • A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
  • Must have active, and in good standing, Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
  • One year of prior experience providing specialized treatments in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
  • Prior Infection Control experience required
  • Infection Control certification preferred
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
