About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Data Analyst to build scalable automation pipelines and reliable analytics platforms for the Uber Advertising team. This role is pivotal in streamlining the reporting processes through advanced technical expertise in SQL and Python. The successful candidate will be instrumental in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of data-driven decision-making within Uber Advertising.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain automated data workflows and analytical pipelines using Python and SQL
- Build measurement and analytics tools and platforms reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available, leveraging Python and SQL
- Develop automated post-campaign reporting and insights across all Uber Advertising sales verticals, including Enterprise Restaurants, Strategic Verticals, CPG/Retail, and Agencies, reducing manual effort while improving consistency and data quality
- Integrate GenAI into our analytics platform to provide AI-generated recommendations and insights alongside automated data output
- Collaborate with Measurement Science, Product, Engineering, and Marketing stakeholders to align on business objectives and scalable solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Automation, Data Science or similar
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and manipulation;live assessment required for interview process
- Strong skills in Python, with a focus on data extraction, transformation, and automation;live assessment required for interview process
- Bachelor's degree, preferably within Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of digital advertising or media analytics
- Experience with Python web development framework such as Flask or Django
- Experience with leveraging GenAI to automate workflow and/or data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$102,000 per year - USD$113,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
