To be able to demonstrate experience of adding a range of enhancements to an existing large system in a manner which minimises risk to a production environment, but maximises the quality of development and time to delivery.
This role is not a project management role. Being a team player is an essential component of this role.
Experience of financial and especially trading systems is desirable.
TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Desirable
A high level of C++ competency is essential, including a full understanding of object-orientated design and development.
Relational Database experience.
Eight or more years of C++ experience.
Ideally experience of Microsoft Visual C++.
Ideally relational database experience will be in MS SQL
Experience of Perl programming.
Some experience/awareness of multithreading, socket level programming and use of TCP/IP.
