Job Summary
The Assistant Seafood Manager supports the overall operation of the seafood department, ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy, and consistent execution of company standards. This role assists with supervising staff and maintaining efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily seafood department operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and rotation
  • Ensure seafood products are handled and stored according to food safety standards
  • Monitor product freshness and assist in removing unsellable items
  • Support and guide department staff during daily operations
  • Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays
  • Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in seafood, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations
  • Basic understanding of product handling and inventory processes
