Perishable Managers oversee the operations of departments that handle perishable goods, such as produce, dairy, meat, and bakery items, in grocery stores or supermarkets. Their responsibilities include ensuring product freshness, managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining health and safety standards. They also coordinate with suppliers, monitor product quality, and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste.
