Job description

Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – Perioperative Services (Contract)

Location: California 93405
Pay: $2,716 – $3,040/week


Schedule
  • Shift: Rotating Day Shift (5 x 8-hour shifts)

  • Hours (12-hour clock):

    • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

    • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

  • Days: Monday – Friday

  • Call: Required (minimum 2x per week + every 3rd weekend)


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgeries; maintain sterile field and patient safety

  • Support patient care (pre, intra, post-op) and positioning

  • Manage OR flow, equipment, and documentation


Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s preferred

  • Minimum 2 years RNFA experience

  • Experience in spine, orthopedic, and robotic surgeries

  • At least 1 year full-time OR experience

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active RN license in California (required)

  • BLS (AHA or ARC) (required)

  • ACLS & PALS (required)

  • CNOR certification (preferred)

  • Proof of insurance documentation required
