Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield has an opening for a PRN Licensed Therapist. We are seeking individuals who are committed to improving the lives of those with mental health illness.

Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is one of the premier behavioral health hospitals providing inpatient psychiatric treatment for children and teenagers. Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is daily committed to improving patientsโ€™ lives by using a patient centered collaborative approach to provide high quality care addressing both the mental health and physical wellbeing of our patients. Ourย therapistย responsibilities include some of the following:

ยท Psychosocial assessment of new patients; developing an update or detailed reassessment of the patient

ยท Maintains contact with family and significant others in the patientโ€™s life when appropriate and provides patient and family education, support, and advocacy

ยท Provides coordination and acts as liaison with community based social and mental health agencies

ยท Facilitates discharge planning and conducts post discharge follow-up to assure that linkage of the patient with community resources has occurred reducing re-hospitalization

Please apply if you have the following qualifications:

ยทย Education: Level of knowledge acquired through the completion in social work (SW) from an accredited school of social work. Unrestricted licensure in social work required.ย LMSW, MSW or LPC preferred. Will consider CSW or PLPC with stipulations.

ยทย Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting with psychiatric experienceย preferred

ยทย Additional Requirements:ย Successful completion of CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment

ยทย Schedule: Seeking FT with some weekends
