What is the difference between Perfusionist vs Cardiovascular Technologist?
| Aspect | Perfusionist | Cardiovascular Technologist |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Certification (e.g., American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion) | Post-secondary education, certification varies |
| Work Environment | Operating rooms during cardiac surgeries | Diagnostic labs, cath labs, operating rooms |
| Industry Usage | Hospitals, surgical centers | Hospitals, diagnostic centers |
