Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Windows Infrastructure & Performance Engineer to lead performance tuning, optimization, and reliability initiatives across enterprise Windows environments. This role requires deep expertise in Windows internals, Active Directory, and system-level troubleshooting, along with experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure.

You will play a critical role in ensuring system scalability, performance, and availability while serving as a senior escalation point for complex production issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead performance tuning across Windows Server environments (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network)
  • Diagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks using advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • Design and support highly available and scalable Windows infrastructure solutions
  • Manage and optimize Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including domain controllers, replication, and authentication flows
  • Act as a senior escalation point for production incidents and drive rapid resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
  • Optimize Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (application, database, cloud) for end-to-end optimization
  • Support hybrid cloud environments (Azure/AWS), including migration and performance tuning
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools
  • Maintain monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning strategies
