Key Responsibilities

  • Design, install, configure, and support DB2 replication solutions across DB2 z/OS and distributed environments.
  • Implement and maintain IBM CDC (IIDR) and Q Replication for real-time and near-real-time data synchronization.
  • Configure and manage replication components including Capture, Apply, and Control processes.
  • Troubleshoot replication failures, data inconsistencies, latency issues, queue backlogs, and connectivity problems.
  • Perform performance tuning to optimize replication throughput, reduce latency, and minimize source system impact.
  • Support integration with DB2 LUW, MQ, ETL platforms, and distributed databases.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery testing.
