Job description

This is a re-advertisement. Previous applicants will still be considered and do not need to reapply.
Responsible for data, reporting and system support of the teacher evaluation system and other performance management systems/processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Interpret and understand the teacher and principal evaluation systems.
  • Attend and understand state trainings on the teacher and principal evaluation systems as the district's representative.
  • Share knowledge gained back with the district staff and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Train, support, and respond to questions from diverse stakeholders regarding evaluations.
  • Administer, import, extract, and report data from various data systems including, but not limited to, the teacher evaluation system, the principal evaluation system, and the strategic plan monitoring platform.
  • Extract, report, and analyze data from various systems on performance evaluation and other topics as assigned.
  • Create user accounts and assign evaluations in the teacher and principal evaluation systems.
  • Create and disseminate documents for staff to sign regarding their evaluations.
  • Serve as liaison to district departments regarding issues in evaluation, including but not limited to, scheduling and licensing.
  • Develop, document, train, and maintain processes, policies, and procedures for use in the evaluation systems.
  • Perform research and analysis and present to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the district complies with federal and state reporting for accountability.
  • Exercise judgement and provide recommendations to district leadership.
  • Facilitate collaboration across a variety of functional teams to support the evaluation systems.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of performance management systems in a large school district.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and support adult educators.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and report on data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience with Stata or another statistical analysis software and willing to learn Stata.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Experience with importing and exporting data to and from enterprise systems.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree and four (4) years' experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree and six (6) years' experience.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems in education.
