Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at JETSET Pilates - Rivermark. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth. They will also be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, tracking expenses, payroll inputs, and vendor spend; operate within the approved budget and escalate variances for Owner approval and budgets, and maintain a positive and motivating studio environment.
Responsibilities - Before Studio Opening
  • Recruitment & Staffing: build and maintain pipelines for studio leads and instructors. Own screening resumes, conducting initial interviews and coordinating other interviews, maintaining a consistent talent pipeline, overall hiring and onboarding into JETSET systems and studio
  • Complete training and modules from JETSET HQs (including 3-days onsite training in Miami, FL and onsite Instructor training)
  • Own and execute local marketing, social media & digital marketing initiatives to drive client acquisition and exceed studio-specific pre-opening goals
  • Lead presales, founding member acquisitions + community events calendar
  • Set up studio ops systems (front desk workflows, SOPs, service recovery playbooks)
  • Own pre-studio opening procedures aligned with JETSET HQ's processes, and coordinate with Owners/HQ to meet launch timeline milestones

Responsibilities - After Studio Opening
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to manage day-to-day operations and implement studio-wide strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service and maintain the highest standards of quality consistent with JETSET Pilates.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, including sales, utilization, retention, expenses, and payroll, to drive business success.
  • Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive client acquisition and exceed studio-specific goals.
  • Address client inquiries, issues, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the local health, fitness, and wellness communities, as well as key influencers and potential corporate partners.
  • Create, monitor, and adjust class and staff schedules to optimize studio efficiency.
  • Recruit and manage studio leads, lead instructor, and other instructors
  • Manage inventory for supplies, retail, and beverages as needed.
  • Plan and facilitate team meetings and social events to foster a positive team culture.

Qualifications
  • Experience in managing a fitness or wellness facility preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Knowledge of Pilates with Mat or Reformers is a plus
  • Experience in fitness industry preferred

  • Must be willing to attend and become certified at the JETSET Pilates training academy
  • Must be willing to teach 4-8 classes per week.
  • Must be willing to be in the studio for a minimum of 25 classes each week.
