Job Description:
The Quality Training Lead develops, implements, and maintains training programs for inventory control and shipping operations to ensure safe and efficient practices. This position is responsible for creating instructional materials, scheduling and conducting training sessions, and evaluating personnel performance to meet operational standards. By providing comprehensive training and guidance, the role supports workforce development and contributes to achieving departmental objectives for accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Primary Duties
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and deliver training programs for inventory control and shipping operations, including classroom, on-the-job, and hands-on sessions.
  • Create and maintain operational and safety procedures for all equipment used in inventory control and shipping.
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Design and update training materials, including multimedia content, course outlines, and evaluation tools.
  • Monitor and assess trainee performance; provide feedback and coaching to ensure competency and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications.
  • Assist in evaluating job performance and testing potential new hires when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED; 1+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping operations, or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Preferred: Experience in quality training leadership and familiarity with equipment used in inventory control and shipping operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong instructional and presentation skills.

The Team Lead acts as a steward of data integrity by monitoring, validating, and supporting transaction accuracy while resolving discrepancies. Through oversight, coaching, and continuous improvement, this role enables end-to-end visibility and supports operational performance.
Primary Duties
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and ensure accurate, real-time execution of transactions that reflect production, inventory, and quality-related activities on the shop floor.
  • Partner with training leads and production leadership to ensure alignment between transactional activity and actual operational processes.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with standardized procedures for inventory movements, production reporting, and quality-related activities.
  • Execute and support critical transactions as needed to maintain continuity of operations and data accuracy.
  • Capture, validate, and audit operational data to ensure inventory accuracy, traceability, and process visibility.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve transaction errors and data discrepancies, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to frontline teams on proper process execution and system usage.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely communication and resolution of material or process issues.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or GED; 1+ years of experience in inventory control, manufacturing, logistics, or a related operational environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience supporting training delivery, process standardization, or operational compliance preferred.
