The ideal candidate will have experience successfully overseeing Infection Prevention and Control Programs (IPCP), Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs (QAPI), and directing and evaluating staff education programs in long term care facilities and/or assisted living facilities. This position is also responsible for developing policy regarding the organizations Infection Prevention Program, assessing the training needs of nursing staff and to develop, implement, evaluate, and document infection prevention and staff development programs including onboarding In-Service trainings, and Continuing Education Programs for nursing department personnel to include Certified Nursing Assistants.
