Job description

The Football Skills Coach leads and engages groups of athletes in football skills and drills specific to offensive and defensive linemen to include, but not limited to, stance, footwork, pass protection/run blocking, block recognition, and pass rush. The football skills training will be marketed by Training HAUS, to be executed within TCO/Training HAUS facilities.
This is a casual (as-needed, no set schedule) position with a variable schedule dependent on needs of the department.
Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
  • Maintain routine schedule of skills and drills as advertised and promoted through Training HAUS
  • Develop and maintain rapport with high level clients engaging in football skills/drills
  • Provide instruction of football specific skills and drills within the scope of practice defined by skills curriculum and proper drill progression.
  • Communicate with sport coaches and coworkers in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with therapy managers, physical therapists and sports performance coaches across the organization as needed
  • Maintain safe environment for self, staff and patients
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding any safety or incident report issues occurring during fitness classes or personal training sessions.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher degree required in one of the following areas
    • Coaching
    • Exercise Physiology
    • Kinesiology
    • Nutrition and Wellness
    • Athletic Training
    • Physical Therapy

  • 1-2 years of experience coaching football offensive and defensive linemen
  • Proof of up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
