We're a small but mighty family law firm serving clients across California. We are looking for an experienced, courtroom-ready Associate Attorney to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in litigation, loves being in court, and enjoys working in a collaborative, client-focused environment. What You’ll Do
  • Work collaboratively while leading clients through all phases of family law litigation
  • Draft motions, discovery responses, declarations, and settlement proposals
  • Represent clients in hearings and conferences (both remote and in-person)
  • Provide thoughtful, timely, and strategic communication with clients
  • Collaborate with team members on strategy, workflow, and case management
  • Support mediation and collaborative law matters when appropriate
  • Stay organized and ahead of deadlines in partnership with our team and office manager
  • Contribute to internal operations and workflow improvements
What we are looking for:

  • Licensed to practice in California and in good standing
  • 3–5 years of family law experience, with courtroom confidence
  • Excellent legal writing, research skills
  • Strong and confident oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a close-knit team
  • Experience with mediation or collaborative law is preferred (but not required)
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with Clio is preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with NetDocs is preferred (but not required)

Compensation and Benefits
This is a non-exempt position that has the opportunity to receive monthly, quarterly, and yearly bonuses dependent upon performance and billable goals. We ask all associates to bill a minimum of 1,200 hours a year. The compensation range for this role is $95,000-$175,000. We offer medical, dental and vision insurance, a matching 401k, non-accrual vacation and paid holidays. We also cover the costs of ongoing education and bar dues. We provide career support through business coaching.
This is a full-time, hybrid position.
