Job description

Do you have at least 2 years of automotive mechanic experience? Do you want to give back to your community? UTS is currently looking for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join our team!

Universal Transportation Systems, LLC. has openings for friendly, reliable, and professional mechanics to join our growing company!

As a fleet mechanic, you will perform routine maintenance functions and automotive repair on Dodge Caravans, Toyota Prius, and yellow school buses for UTS.

Who are we? UTS provides transportation for students of all age ranges to school. We primarily service the City of Cincinnati, Warren County, Fairfield, Middletown, Hamilton, Westchester, and Dayton, OH areas.

Competitive Pay: $25 - $35 per hour 

What are we looking for?

Valid Ohio Drivers License

Five years of automotive mechanic experience

Supply own mechanic hand tools required for auto repairs

Ability to lift to 50 lbs. frequently, and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally

Current ASE certifications Preferred

Light/ medium duty for minivans and school buses. This will be a multifaceted role.

Knowledge of shop equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to troubleshoot and identify equipment issues
