Job description

Position Summary

Lift Solutions Holdings provides end-to-end industrial lifting solutions. We offer rigging and other lifting equipment, as well as OSHA compliance inspections, crane equipment, aftermarket services and parts for overhead cranes. We are hiring a Wire Rope Sling Fabricator in Atlanta, GA.

You will be responsible for the workflow, fabrication, testing and quality control of our company product. It is essential that you understand the safety expectations and meet the delivery requirements with a customer first mentality, strong work ethic and high level of integrity. The Wire Rope Sling Fabricator will also be responsible for maintaining an organized shop. Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment and requires the use of safety equipment, eye safety glasses, and steel toe work boots.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing/Production of wire rope and chain slings
  • Utilizing hydraulic machinery (presses, reeling machine, pull test machine)
  • Forklift Operation
  • Loading/offloading trucks
  • Keeping an organized/safe work area
  • Assisting with annual Inventory
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to be on feet for extend periods of time
  • Light welding as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent
  • Driver's license, preferred but not required

Experience:

  • Wire rope experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Ability to become forklift certified.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to direct work and meet customer deadlines.

Communication Skills:

  • Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills required.
