Job description

Work with a great team and cutting edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in a Level 1 Trauma Center.  This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter. This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety.

This job provides:

  • Environmental balance - 1.5-2 techs per scanner.

  • Safety focus around MRI safety.

  • Creative work schedule and more time outside of work.

  • Lots of variety - rotation through both clinics and Regions Hospital.

  • Holiday rotation.

Work Schedule:

  • Per diem, mainly day/evening.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), advanced ARRT registry in MRI with one year of MRI experience OR completed a comprehensive ARRT-accredited MRI program with an advanced registry in MRI.

  • BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.

Additional Information: 

This is a non-union per diem position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $41.51-$57.82 per hour, based on years of experience, plus shift differentials. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is not eligible for benefits. Regions is proud to be a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Company.
