Job Description Field Service Technician Lead Location: Dallas, TX (Preferred Home Base) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible Schedule | Extensive Travel Required (Approximately 75-85%) Compensation: $32.00-$40.00 per hour Lead Industrial Field Service Projects Across North America We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician Lead to serve as the primary technical leader on customer job sites. In this role, you'll lead field technicians during equipment installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for an experienced industrial field service professional who enjoys leading crews, solving complex mechanical and electrical issues, mentoring technicians, and building strong customer relationships

This position is technically remote; however, candidates should be based in or near the Dallas, TX area to support current operations and future business growth. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour Medical Insurance (company pays approximately 80%) Dental & Vision Insurance (company pays approximately 75-80%) Company-paid Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Coverage Tuition Assistance Pet Insurance Home & Auto Insurance Programs Supplemental Insurance Options Paid Bereavement Leave Company-provided tools and PPE Travel expenses paid or reimbursed, including: Airfare Hotels Rental vehicles Per diem (when applicable) Schedule & Travel Full-time position with a flexible schedule based on customer project needs Extensive travel required (approximately 75-85%) Travel throughout the United States to customer facilities Dallas-area residency strongly preferred What You'll Do As a Field Service Technician Lead, you will: Lead field technicians during equipment installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair Serve as the primary customer contact on-site and provide regular project updates Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA, customer, and company safety requirements Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation Inspect, diagnose, repair, and commission: Air Fin Coolers Plate Heat Exchangers Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers Related industrial cooling equipment Coordinate project activities with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Project Management teams Complete detailed electronic service reports and recommend corrective actions Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction Mentor and train Field Service Technicians Travel extensively to customer facilities throughout North America Leadership Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily work activities for field service crews Assign work and monitor project progress Train, mentor, and develop field technicians Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards Required Qualifications Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent hands-on experience Minimum 5 years of industrial field service experience Two or more years of field crew leadership experience preferred Strong customer-facing communication skills Professional leadership presence Valid driver's license Ability to obtain a Passport and TWIC Card Ability to travel approximately 75-85% Technical Skills & Experience Electrical & Controls Read electrical schematics Troubleshoot VFDs, motors, sensors, and industrial controls Perform electrical troubleshooting safely Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Electrical safety procedures Experience using: Multimeters Clamp meters Megohmmeters Mechanical Systems Pumps Motors Bearings Gearboxes Couplings Shaft alignments Mechanical inspections Rotating equipment Heat Transfer Equipment Experience servicing one or more of the following is highly preferred: Air Fin Coolers Plate Heat Exchangers Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers Industrial cooling systems Heat transfer equipment Additional Skills Commissioning and startup Equipment troubleshooting Performance testing and evaluation Preventive maintenance Microsoft Office Technical reporting Work Environment This position requires extensive travel to industrial customer sites and includes work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
