We’re looking for a Resinous Flooring Installer who knows that "good enough" doesn't exist, and who takes true pride in every seamless square foot.
Joining Trimerge means becoming part of a professional and supportive team environment that is fully committed to your success and offers clear opportunities for career advancement. We value your hard work, which is why we provide a consistent schedule with opportunities for additional overtime, alongside occasional 3-week rotations based on project needs. We ensure you are taken care of while on the road by offering company-provided lodging at all project locations and $50 per diem to cover your expenses each day your traveling. If you are ready to apply your skills within a company that invests in its people and offers a path for growth, we want to hear from you.
Job Summary:
Trimerge Construction Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Resinous Flooring Installer to join our growing team. If you are a tradesperson who specializes in creating highly professional, durable, and aesthetically pleasing floor surfaces in commercial and industrial environments, we want to hear from you.
A Resinous Flooring Installer is a skilled tradesperson specializing in the installation of self-leveling and trowel liquid-applied flooring systems. These systems encompass a variety of materials, including urethane cement, epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, and methyl methacrylate (MMA), each with unique properties suited to different environments. The installer prepares surfaces, mixes and applies these liquid compounds, and ensures proper curing to create high-performance floor surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Surfaces: Thoroughly inspect and prepare concrete or other substrates to ensure they are clean, dry, and free of contaminants that could compromise adhesion. This may involve shot blasting, grinding, patching, or applying primers and moisture barriers.
  • Mix and Apply Flooring Materials: Accurately measure and mix liquid flooring components according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper ratios and consistency. Apply the mixed material to the prepared surface using trowels, rollers, or squeegees, achieving the desired thickness and texture. This may involve working with different colors, patterns, or decorative aggregates.
  • Ensure Proper Curing: Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) during and after application to ensure proper curing of the fluid applied flooring. Implement necessary measures, such as ventilation or heating, to facilitate optimal curing conditions.
  • Install Cove Base and Transitions: Install integral cove base or apply separate cove base materials to create a seamless transition between the floor and wall. Install transition strips or other finishing details where different flooring materials meet.
  • Read and Interpret Specifications: Understand and interpret project specifications, technical data sheets, and safety data sheets for the specific fluid applied flooring system being used.
  • Adhere to Safety Regulations: Strictly follow all safety protocols and procedures on the job site, paying close attention to the handling and application of potentially hazardous chemicals. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, gloves, and eye protection. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with Other Trades: Coordinate with other construction professionals to ensure proper sequencing of work and integration of the fluid applied flooring with other building elements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, is free of defects, and achieves the desired aesthetic and performance characteristics. Make any necessary adjustments or corrections

Qualifications & Experience:
● Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial flooring.
● Demonstrated expertise in fluid applied flooring systems involving a variety of materials. MMA experience is preferred.
● Ability to read and interpret project specifications, technical data sheets, and safety data sheets for the specific fluid applied flooring system being used
● Strong understanding of job site safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining a
safe work environment.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as part of a larger
team.
● Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
● Willingness and ability to travel extensively for extended periods is a firm
requirement of this position.
● Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
● OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
What We Offer:
● Competitive Pay: $26.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on experience.
● Per Diem: $50 per day to cover expenses while traveling.
● Lodging: Company-provided lodging at all project locations.
● Hours: Consistent work schedule of 40-50 hours per week, with opportunities for
additional overtime.
● Rotation: Occasional 3-week rotations based on
project needs.
● Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement within a growing company.
● Supportive Team: A professional and supportive team environment committed to your
success.
If you are a master of your craft who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding traveling role, we encourage you to apply.
