Commercial HVAC Installer Technician – Wilmington, DE

Regional Routes | Up to 75% Travel

BGIS Integrated Technical Services (ITS) is hiring an experienced Commercial HVAC Installer Technician to support Wilmington, DE and surrounding Region. This is a full‐time, installer‐focused commercial role offering competitive hourly pay, strong benefits, and long‐term career growth.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Competitive Pay$40–$50/hour
  • Overtime paid when approved
  • $55/day per diem for regional travel
  • Company-paid lodging when overnight travel is required

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Install commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Perform pipefitting, brazing, and soldering
  • Support system start‐ups and troubleshoot installation issues
  • Perform limited maintenance or repair as needed
  • Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors
  • Complete electronic work orders accurately

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 2–5 years of commercial HVAC experience (installation preferred)
  • EPA Certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening

Preferred

  • HVAC apprenticeship or technical school training
  • Journeyman‐level or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Work on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces
  • Comfortable wearing required PPE

Schedule & Travel

  • Local and regional commercial work
  • Up to 75% travel, depending on project needs
  • Per diem and lodging provided when overnight travel is required
